Let \(E\) be a point on the side \(CD\) of a square \(ABCD\). The point \(F\) lies on the line \(AB\) but not on the segment \(AB\), and satisfies \(|BF| = |DE|\). Prove that the lines \(AC\) and \(EF\) are perpendicular.
